He earned a Bachelor's Degree from The Ohio State University and a Master's Degree fromAshlandUniversity. Before becoming principal, he taught for Sandusky City Schools as a social studies teacher for 26 years at bothSanduskyHigh Schooland Adams Junior High where he also coached football. Dan lives inSanduskywith his wife Liz, daughter Jennifer, and son Lucas.
Mr. Scott Matheny, Assistant Principal (Grades 11-12) 419-621-2752,SMatheny@scs-k12.net Assistant Principal for students with the last name beginning H-O. Mr. Matheny began his teaching career in Arcadia, OH where, after graduating from BGSU, he taught 6thgrade for 10 years. He then moved to Findlay, OH where he served for 3 years as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director of Central Middle School. Since 1997, Mr. Matheny proudly served as the Principal of Jackson Jr. High until its reconfiguration in 2009.

He earned his bachelors and Masters degrees from Bowling Green State University. Mr. Peugeot taught 4 years at SHS and Adams before becoming Athletic Director at SHS. He has also served as Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at Adams for 5 years. Mr. Peugeot lives in Sandusky with his wife Megan and 4 children; James, Madelyn, Brayden, and Evan.

After receiving her teacher’s license fromClevelandStateUniversity, she went on to teach English atJohnF.KennedyHigh School. in Cleveland, Shaker Heights Middle School in Shaker Heights and at Orange High School in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Ms. Woods received her Master’s Degree in Education Administration fromAshlandUniversity. Ms. Woods lives inSanduskywith her three children, Jessie, Justin and Jalynn.
Mrs. Nancy Zechman, Director Career & Tech/Adult Education 419-621-2731, NZechman@scs-k12.net Nancy Zechman was born in West Virginia, and raised in Pennsylvania and Ohio. She earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Akron, completed her teaching credentials through Bowling Green State University, and received her Masters of Education from Ashland University. Mrs. Zechman began her career with Sandusky City Schools as an adult education instructor and taught in the Business department at Sandusky High School for 13 years.

Educational Objectives
